Fears

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while but I have been a little busy working on things here and there. Anyway here I am and I'm hoping to write something woth reading. I feel like a terrible writer, which I guess hating wrting doesn't help either. But the only way to get over things like that is to try to do it. I usually never write anything I don't have to but I am writing this blog bit by bit and writing is slowly becoming easier to do. We can all apply that same concept to our spiritual lives as well. Some people have trouble praying out loud, some have trouble worshiping openly because they think they look dumb, you know how I know because I used to have the same problems. I had to try and learn to get over those fears, and yes they are fears, because I was starting to miss out on things God had for me. What we have to do is simple, talk to God about whatever may bother you whether it be physical everyday things or spiritial. It doesn't matter because God cares about you and everybody else too. Anyway, this is not what I had planned on writing but it just happned so here you go. Please continue pray for our church and for for revival. Thanks for visiting and please leave me some comments to let me know how this may be helping you and ( God forbid) if it doesn't help you at all.

Stay

Now I am going to try to start writing some small letters of encouragement for you all to read. I was listining to Jeremy Camp and his song Stay came on and I started thinking about how we need to stay close to God. Through all that this life throws at you God is still there and he still loves you. Many times I do not feel like God is there, I feel completly stranded and alone but God is there. Mathew 24:13 says "He that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved." So if we stick with it and just hang on through this life there is going to be a great reward on the other side. But we need to serve God because we love him and because he died for us, not because we just want a reward. I have a brother in heaven and I want to go there to see my brother again but that need not be my number one reason to want to go, God needs to be. So when school starts back and you all start feeling the pressure from your friends and from others to do what's not right remember Mathew 24:13 and just say "no thanks, I'll pass" and go on. Stick with God because he will be the best friend you will ever have.

My Goal

My long-term goal is to provide a site devoted to encouraging teens in their daily walk with God. I would like to make it a fun but serious site that maybe will make a diffrence in some of the teens in the world that come to read. My Pastor's Page is on a link to the right (barnabas blog). Please visit his page for he has a ton of encouraging messages already written. That is what I want to have but directed more towards teens. I figured since I am a teen why not try to encourage others.

Just Starting

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I am from Dothan Alabama. This is a project my Pastor suggested for us teens in our youth group to do. So here I am trying to encourage and give some advice for day to day life. This is my first blog so please ignore any mistakes you find. Thank you for reading.
